Villa Mariposa is the first house built at Las Planadas, and the best way to picture your own: a colonial-modern home with two bedrooms and a private pool, made with artisans from the area.
Arriving
You come in through an iron gate with a butterfly, mariposa in Spanish, which gave the house its name. Palm trees planted by hand frame the garden.
Colonial outside, modern inside
Wooden beams and handcrafted French doors bring the colonial charm; white walls and simple furniture keep the rooms light. The bedrooms open onto the garden through their French doors, and a palm-leaf pergola shades the outside.
The pool, day and night
The private pool is the heart of the house. At night it is lit, and the whole garden changes mood.
Lots ready for your plans
Water and electricity connection is available on the lots, and the roads and drainage are kept up. Lots range from 800 to 1,190 m², from $28,080.
If one day you want to build
Building is never an obligation. If you wish, the same team can build your house turnkey, or put you in touch with contractors and every trade so that you run the project your way.
